Great Lakes Glide is a professional-grade, solvent-based SiO₂ coating engineered to deliver outstanding gloss, slickness, water behavior, and durable surface protection. Unlike conventional ceramic detail sprays, Glide is a true coating that creates a thin, protective layer over the surface.
Formulated with 20% SiO₂ and rated at 7H hardness, Glide provides a durable barrier while enhancing depth, clarity, and gloss. Its advanced hydrophobic properties produce a 98° static water contact angle, helping water bead and move quickly from the treated surface.
With a low 2–3 cP viscosity, Glide spreads smoothly and evenly for controlled professional application. Once applied, it forms an extremely thin 100–150 nm protective film, delivering protection without changing the appearance or feel of the underlying surface.
